This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, SSG Clint Storey who was born in United States on February 27, 1976 .
            He was KIA  in Ramadi Iraq by an IED,on August 4th 2006.It is going on a year now,and Clint is still loved and missed by many,especially me,his Mom.
 Clint was a born leader,never a follower,he had so much self confidence and self esteem.When he wanted something he went after it and most always got it.
I had talked to him VIA e mail about a week before the second IED got him,the one that took his life.we talked about the unborn baby,him looking forward to coming home,here to his home town of Enid Oklahoma that Christmas for a little R&R,but he did'nt get to.We talked about him turning 30,he was so vain,he did'nt want to get old,then he said Mom I don't mind getting old I just don't want to look old,I just laughed.
His troop was out on a mission at the time and he was waiting for them all to get back safe before going to sleep himself,it was 1:00 am there.He was TEN FOOT TALL AND BULLET PROOF,he swore he was coming home and bringing all his guys with him,Well he had a good heart anyway,and so much self confidence.
That is also the time I'd learned about the first IED that hit him,and had survived,he was'nt going to tell but knew I'd find out so he did,I'm glad he could'nt see me .I cried so much I could'nt see to type,so scared for him and never seeing my Baby again.
The pain is still as strong as it was 11 months ago,I think of him every second of everyday.I love and miss him so very much.
I don't get to be in my grandchildrens lives because of my Son leaving me in charge of his remains instead of his wife,and she is very bitter about that.So that sort of triples my pain.
   I pray everyday for our troops to be kept safe,"Freedon Is Not Free"
